Bloging for income - 4/29
Another way to possibly make money is by blogging. However you need to drive traffic to your blog. Networking with other blogger and getting them to post a link on their pages is one way. Another is to subscribe to a service like Zimbio. I have only just started this blog so I can't say if it works or not. I will continue to add updates on this type of income as things progress.

Using Your Hobby to make money
I know that there area lot of people out there who have hobbies that don't involve surfing the internet. Some of these can make you money. If you have any kind of craft hobby you can probably turn it into a money making cottage industry. The key is advertising. If you have a website of course you can use that to advertise your craft (I do cross stitch and am thinking about selling xmas ornaments that I stitch) I have not yet started to do this myself. However I have self published a childrens book (If you are interested go to amazon.com and search for Anna's Animals) It is a chapter book that reads at about a third grade level. I used the website CreateSpace.com and would highly recommend them for any aspiring writiers. I had some technical questions on setting up my book and they were very helpful. They responded immediately and gave very clear directions. They have very reasonable rates if you want to buy copies yourself and sell them. This is a print on demand website. There are many others but I have not used them - so can't speak to how good they are.
Survey's and Product Testing
When you do a search on Google for making money from the internet you will find a lot of sites on making money taking surveys. I have tried this twice. The first time, several years ago, was a miserable failure. I never made any money and my inbox kept getting filled with junk mail. I tried it again about 2 months ago. This time I have been more successful. The type of survey site that you want to participate in depends on what you are looking for. Many of these sites give you points for the surveys you fill out. You can eventually turn in the points for 'stuff' Sometimes gift cards, sometimes products. I did not pursue these sites as I want MONEY!! I am currently signed up for two sites that have both paid me actual cash money. The first is Vindale Research and the second is Inboxdollars.
Vindale requires that you purchase/ try products and then complete a survey on those products and the website you use to order them. Most of these items either charge only for shipping of the 'freetrial' or don't cost anything. However in order to make any money at this you must keep track of what you sign up for and cancel before the trial period is over. If you do not you will end up spending a lot more money than you make. This site pays through Paypal on line and I have made a lot more money here than anywhere else.
InBoxDollars pays you to read advertisers emails. They also offer surveys, product reviews and games for cash. I have not been successful in any of the surveys (they always seem to tell me my demographic has been filled) I don't pay to play online games so have no information on that part. I have used their product reviews and the emails to make some money - However it is much slower and they pay through a paper check process.

Welcome
Hello and welcome to my site. It seems like everyone is looking for a way to make some extra money these days and I have been somewhat successful using the internet and my spare time. There are a LOT of websites out there that promise the moon, but most don't deliver. I am going to use this site to document my errors and successes so you have a better idea of what to expect.
First I have to recommend that you speak to your tax professional before you do anything. I am not sure what the specific laws are in regards to extra income, but if you suddenly are earning a lot through the internet you may be liable for some tax costs. I don't want to be responsible for anyone getting in trouble with the IRS.
Second, If you have any ideas that you have tried that are successful, please let me know. I would love to share.
Thanks for coming to my site - I hope my posts are helpful
